TJ: I've heard Bountiful Ridge is something to behold. Honestly I thought people might be overselling it. Not a chance. This course was absolutely phenomenal, and probably the best looking course we've played all year. The rough was in great shape, even though i tried to avoid it... The fairway was in even better shape, when i actually got to hit from it. The greens, however, are the crowing jewel of this course. I don't like to throw this word around, but at least on the backside, the greens were perfect.

The approach of the 18th green from the fairway
My favorite hole has to be 18. It's a slight dog leg right par five. Your first shot is going to be downhill. The second shot, theoretically, should be over a valley to a green that is surrounded by water on the backside. Breathtaking.

No 7 am brew this week, just this fantastic course.

I'm not sure i'll give this score ever again, but, I give this course an Albatross .

Jordan: Like TJ was saying, I have heard great things about Bountiful Ridge. Some of which a person tends to chalk up to just over-hype. This course is everything good that you hear and more. It is in fantastic shape. This course has been rated 4.5 stars and a Best Value golf course by Golf Digest and I completely understand why. The entire course is phenomenally maintained, the fairways were in great shape, the greens were smooth and great to putt on, and the rough and sand were even great to hit out of (yes, I made it into both). In addition to the accolades from Golf Digest, Bountiful Ridge has recently been awarded Utah's best public golf course. From the time we arrived at the course and paid I had a feeling it would be great, the man at the counter was fantastic and was absolutely on top of starting everyone out both sides, they definitely care about the details at this course. If you get a chance, definitely go play this course. I haven't played at a country club (yet), but from what I have heard, this is in the same great shape at a country club, with a public course price.

The view from the 11th green
The wildlife gallery you get playing on the side of the mountain.
This course definitely has a mountain course vibe to it being on the side hill, and it can be difficult, but, it's really hard to be mad about your play when the course is as beautiful as this one.

Like TJ, this course gets an Albatross from me as well, however, this one teeters on an Ace from me.
